Chat set up

This is how you set up the chat function for your listings:

Log in on facebook and go to your company page. You need a company page to use the chat function, and you must be an admin for the page. The chat function does not work with a private facebook account.

Once logged in, go to your company page and click on Settings:

 

Click on Messenger Platform

 

Once inside the Messenger Platform, jump to the section concerning the Customer Chat Plugin

 

Click on Customer Chat Plugin Set Up

 

A pop-up will show, simply press Next.

 

If you want to change your automatic response you may do so here, then press next.

 

Here you may select more settings if you wish, or simply press Next.

 
Here you must apply all homito domains. They are as following:

  • https://homitoglobal.com/
  • https://homito.de/
  • https://homito.it/
  • https://homito.es/
  • https://homito.fr/
  • https://homito.se
  • https://homito.ch
  • https://homito.at
  • https://homito.uk
  • https://homito.us
  • https://homito.pt
  • http://homito.cr

After you have applied all domains press save.

In the right column up will see page_id. You must copy the numbers within the “quotation marks”. Only the numbers.

After this press Finish.

 

Once you have finished, go to homitoglobal.com and log in to your account. Click your account name and select either “Submit listing” or “My listings” in the drop down menu. On the Submit Property page selecet “Office” and scroll down to Facebok Page ID for Customer Chat. Paste the ID number you copied and press Save. The chat should be up and running within a few minutes.
